U.S. immigration authorities have announced the deportation of a woman who was injured after being pushed by «coyotes» from the border wall with Mexico.
John Modlin, Chief of the Tucson Sector Border Patrol, shared photos of the rescue on February 14 through the social media platform X, under the title «Injured, but Inadmissible.»
The officer detailed that the Nogales Fire Department assisted the migrant after she was «thrown» by coyotes—a term commonly used for human traffickers in border regions—from the border wall.
«We will be much kinder when we press charges for illegal entry and return her to Mexico,» Modlin stated regarding the operation.
Coyotes: Criticism Over Lack of Humanity at the Border

One of the circulated images shows the migrant in camouflage clothing, lying on a Border Patrol vehicle, seemingly receiving first aid.
The situation has sparked strong criticism, with Isabel García, director of the Coalition for Human Rights of Arizona, commenting:
«This demonstrates the lack of humanity from Border Patrol and the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, who are proud to showcase a complete lack of empathy towards migrants.»
She emphasized that the agency has a long history of civil rights violations, adding: «They used to try to hide them, but under Trump, it’s completely different. These messages on social media show they are proud of their inhumane behavior.»
Since Donald Trump took office on January 20, 14 miles (22 kilometers) of barbed wire have been added to the border wall in Arizona to deter migrant crossings.
According to the latest data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), there has been a 35% decrease in migrant arrests along the border compared to December.

The same federal agency reported over 61,000 arrests at the southern border last month, with 8,000 occurring in Arizona alone.
This incident has fueled heated debates across various sectors, with criticism directed at how border security measures are being handled.
Human rights organizations have labeled the coyotes’ actions as inhumane and are demanding that migrant dignity be prioritized and that future interventions ensure fair and respectful treatment.
Meanwhile, officials and politicians continue to defend the reinforcement of border security, arguing that these measures are necessary to control illegal migration and protect national security.
